If you’re in St. George for a weekend in July, there are some great activities and events happening that you won’t want to miss. Here are 8 to get you started…
June 30th to July 2nd have a heehawin’ good time at the Gunlock Rodeo. Held at the Gunlock Rodeo Grounds from 8:30PM-11PM. Tickets are $5.00 for adults, $3 for kids 6-12.
July 1st and 2nd, take a short trip 40 miles outside St. George to see the Thomas Brothers in concert, taking place at the Bumbleberry Playhouse in Springdale, 7PM-9PM. Adults $15, children $10.
July 4th will be a day full of fun activities for the whole family at the St. George 4th of July Celebration! Start off with a breakfast at 7:30AM, then various games and activities all day followed by a spectacular fireworks display at 10:00PM. FREE.
July 8th and 9th: The Computer Connection Home and Business Technology Expo at the Dixie Center. Noon to 7PM Friday, 9AM-6PM Saturday. See some really cool gadgets and electronics. Drawings for prizes! Admission is FREE.
July 8th and 22nd: Sunset on the Square movie. Bring your blankets for Yogi Bear on July 8 and The Flyboys on Juy 22, starting at dusk in St. George Town Square. The outdoor movie is presented on an inflatable big screen. FREE.
July 11th: Get out your lawn chairs and coolers, pack a picnic, then head to Vernon Worthen Park for St. George Summer Concert in the Park. This month’s artist is Chris Proctor, contemporary guitarist. FREE.
July 21st to July 23rd: American Legion Rodeo in Enterprise. Amateur rodeo with Diamond G bucking bulls and horses. 8PM-10:30PM. Adults $6, Kids $3.
July 29: Show at GOGO37, a new venue featuring art shows, concerts, live comedy and more. Tonight’s featured performer is Courtney Marie Andrews at 8PM-10PM.
